Valentines day a day of Love and a day of encouragement
Valentines Day a day of Love and a Day of Encouragement.  This card is being submitted to the Dazzling Divas Challenge #12.  It's also being entered into another Challenge my friend Monica has about sharing with others.   It got me to thinking.  Valentines Day is not only a day of Love but a day of Encouragement.

Valentines Day a day of Love and a day of encouragement

When I saw this video on Facebook yesterday it made me think, if we all had these special glasses maybe we would treat each other differently, I encourage you to watch it.

You never know when someone needs a kind gesture, a hug, encouragement. As we get together with our families and loved ones today, let's not forget those that have lost someone they have loved, or may have just filed for divorce, or who is being abused, or a child being bullied, or someone that just received news they have cancer.   Let's all share something special with those we don't know.

On this valentines day I encourage all of you to make a card or a small hand crafted gift and give it to someone other than a family member.  This could be your personal trainer, your bank teller, nail tech, or kids that always skate boards behind your car, or anyone that matches the description I mentioned above, just a little something to reach out and make someones day.

I am going to send the card I created for this challenge to a little boy that will be turing 11 in March his name is Collin.  He has been featured on tv.  You might know the story but if you haven't seen it you can view it through the links below.

Leave a birthday wish on Colin's page: http://abc7.ws/LSyvVR

“Like” and “Share” so everyone can wish Colin a very Happy Birthday!

For the stories you care about – "Like" ABC 7 Chicago!

I'm praying for this boy that he might find peace in Jesus and know that he is loved and valued as a child of Christ and that his mom loved him enough to show him he is good enough.  If you feel led to like his facebook page please do so.  They also have an address where you can send a card.  I'm so excited about this and hope you can join in as well.  But if you don't please try to reach out to someone that might need some encouragement and love this Valentines Day!

I also have some other cards made that I'm going to hand out to the lovely employees at my local Kroger grocery that work in the Deli department.  They help cut meat for my family every week and they are always smiling and willing to help, I want to show them how appreciated they are by me.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hoping you have been inspired to reach out and make someones day!    Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you back here on Monday!

From 1st Class Creativity to YOU!

Happy Valentines Day!

Love, Kari
