Minion Halloween Costume for Test Tubes…..aren't they just adorable? The idea to dress these Test Tubes up in a Minion Halloween Costume came to  us when we were creating test tube treats to hand out to friends,  postal carrier and just to hand out as a random act of kindness. Our friends Erica, Dawn and Emily LOVE the minions. We even received a MINION Happy Birthday Video wishing a happy birthday.   Since we were using Reese's Pieces we were picking out the orange ones for the test tube treats.  Then we saw the  yellow candies and EUREKA! We hit gold! Ok, maybe not gold but the idea was born for Minion Halloween Costume for Test Tubes. Can't wait to see the joy on their faces when they have these in their hands!

Minion Test Tube Treats

Here are the test tubes using the "Something Good To Eat" Paper Pumpkin kit!  Aren't they adorable!   Each has a slightly different look based on the candy that was placed inside.   We did attempt to put nuts and trail mix in the Test Tubes for a healthier option.  The nuts and trail mix didn't quite fit right or look as good so we nixed the idea.

Supplies/Instructions needed to create the Minion Halloween Costume for Test Tubes:

  • Paper Pumpkin = Something Good To Eat Refill Kit – 143411 (only available to paper pumpkin subscribers)
  • Googlies Eyes – they come in different sizes at any craft store.  We used what we had in our inventory.  They will either self adhere or you can apply with the multipurpose glue.
  • Multipurpose Tombow Glue – 110755
  • Marina Mist Card Stock – 119682  Cut at a width of 1/2" cut out the suspenders then wrapped around the test tube cutting off excess, honestly we didn't take a length measurement, just eyeballed it.
  • Black thin twine, wrapped and cut by eyeballing it, adhere with multipurpose Tombow Glue (prop to dry for at least an hour).
  • You can decorate either with the test tube filled or empty.
